2020 ELECTION ✅
Election Protection: Volunteers Needed
This year, Virginia voters will face obstacles that have no place in a modern democracy — and these impediments to voting will hit communities of color the hardest. During the first week of early voting we saw record turnout for early in-person voting and even some of the spiteful shenanigans where protestors tried to impede voters’ access to the ballot box. Your help is critical to protecting our election. Please share this with your networks and sign up for a shift today: you can volunteer on a Saturday during early voting or sign up for Election Day support.

Record numbers of Virginians are voting early and requesting absentee ballots this year, as COVID-19 pandemic and new election laws became effective this summer. Voters have until October 31st to vote-early in person.
Wedding Photographer and Ministries Challenge Virginia Values Act
Early this year, Virginia became the first Southern state to pass sweeping LGBT rights legislation that bans discrimination in employment, housing and public accommodations. Gov. Ralph Northam signed the Virginia Values Act into law, and it took effect July 1.
