Ohio recently became the first state to sue the Census Bureau this year, in an attempt to secure the needed redistricting data earlier than the September 30th forecast. But this lawsuit has been opposed by both coalitions of Ohio cities and counties as well as the Biden administration. According to the AP, “Ohio should blame the lack of flexibility in its own redistricting schedule and election dates rather than the Census Bureau’s pandemic-related delays, Biden administration attorneys said.” Read more here.
