Earlier today, the Redistricting Commission held its first meeting in nearly two months. During the meeting, we learned several important pieces of information:

~The commission plans to use the data that will be received in mid-August, setting in motion the 45 and 60 day windows to draw lines for state legislature and federal maps.

~The currently scheduled meetings at 10am on Tuesday April 13th, April 27th, and May 11th do not accommodate the schedule needs of legislative commissioner, Senator Mamie Locke. We are expecting to see a change in this schedule.
