Please follow CDC guidelines and do not travel if you are not feeling well or if you may have been recently exposed to the COVID-19 virus.
As part of the program application, candidates must show proof of COVID-19 vaccination. Participants must be up to date on COVID-19 vaccinations, as defined by the Center for Disease Control.
As an extra layer of safety, to attend each program weekend, participants must have proof of a negative antigen or PCR test result within 72 hours prior to the event. VAPLP will provide participants with four at-home testing kits – one for each weekend. Each day, participants will also complete a health & safety check-in, which includes attestation and temperature check.
Face coverings will be required in all indoor spaces. VAPLP will provide participants with N95 masks on-site. If you are bringing your own, we highly recommend N95 masks. Participants should expect to keep face coverings on throughout the weekend, except while eating/drinking or outdoors.
All tables and seating will be organized to support social distancing. There will also be health & safety stations (including hand sanitizer, wipes, and tissues) throughout the venue.
Please stay tuned for more information.
The VAPLP team will continue to monitor ongoing developments in COVID-19 health & safety, as well as new variants of the virus. We will update this page periodically. In the spirit of community care, we welcome any recommendations to make this space safe & comfortable for all participants – please send us an email at hello@engageva.org.
