Cameron Bell

What is your work focused on?
Political education, voter engagement & mobilization, youth development, grassroots community organizing.

How long have you been doing this work? And what motivated you to do this work?
“Professionally” for 4 years now, but in reality, for most of my life. From advocating for middle school sports and a 10 point grading scale in my school division when I was a student, to working to push my undergraduate institution to do more to address institutional racism, to teaching/tutoring, and more, I just have always tried to do my part to create conditions where all of us can thrive.

What is your theme song?

If you could trade places with someone for a day, who would it be and why?
Someone not in the public eye but who is living a life full of rest and comfort, preferably on a private island so I can take a much needed break.

What is the most exciting thing you have worked on or work you are most proud of?
Wow, there’s so many. Recently, I started another part-time gig working with youth and I think just their curiosity about why things are the way they are and their zeal to determine what they can do to change that for the better are always inspiring.
